Dear Nick,

Why are you spamming me for these services? How many other people did you spam this week? Did you know that building 5,000 backlinks out of nowhere can get you banned from Google? So you might want to mention that to your prospective clients. How can you offer 5,000 relevant links to someone before knowing there industry? You can’t. Since you can’t then you are creating a black hat nexus of death for these potential clients of yours.  Also I am curious if this worked why you haven’t tried it on your own company… Are you ranking for anything at all?  Thank you.

First what kind of site would look “natural” getting 14,000 links? First Google might be really excited about all these blog links! Then the penalty comes.. ooh. How long until that penatly comes off? I am thinking… years.  Well thank goodness you had that two weeks of good rankings..  The only good use of 14,000 links is sending them to one of your blog posts on someone elses site. Then let them deal with the fallout.. but by no means.. mr. cake store owner.com  please don’t buy the above package. Nightmare!

So I went surfing through SEO H**s’s backlinks.. which put them on page 9 for “SEO Company”  and found these:

The questions is whether this was approved.. or whether they are being Link Spammed.. I didn’t want to blind my eyes so I didn’t go to these web sites to check to see if the link was there. I will trust SEO Moz on this one. Really though?

SEOCOmpany.com is listed #1 on Google organically for “SEO Company”  something that is probably worth thousands of dollars a day.. but here is what is says as of 6/19/2011

Think about this really quickly. Say you are a plumber in Detroit and all the sudden you pop up with 100,000 comment links.. can that possibly be natural at all? Even worse you have to be with the other suckers on the same page who paid for this as well. Meaning Google can just black list everyone on the page all at once. Avoid this crap!

Bad link building is like eating to much junk food. It add nothing to your body, eventually saps away your energy and eventually has a deteriorating effect on your overall well-being.  Much like creating a plan for a healthy diet it is important from the beginning of your site to create a strategically sound plan. So here is your Link Building Diet

1. Make sure to create only stable links

2. Make sure to create links on sites that are high quality

3. Make sure to create links on sites you want to be found on

4. Make sure that your links have high quality content around them

5. Make sure that your links are on diversified types of sites

6. Make sure that your links incorporate keyword diversity

If you are always building out “new” links to replace your “dying” links.. you will never get ahead and never create a healthy authoritative site.

My mission with this site is to expose the ridiculous measures that people go to in trying to manipulate the link building algorithms of the search engines. I will do my best not to “name names” but you will have to go to the pages that I list and really examine and figure out what might be going on. I felt that someone needed to be out there writing about this stuff because it seems like people just want to pretend like it isn’t going on. People hear about “link farms” and assume that they can’t be used, or aren’t being used to still effective means. There is no real way to let people know what is going on except to expose the people themselves. If someone is offended by what I reveal on this site…build better links!  Just remember that the ban hammer will eventually come down on these people. The person in school who cheats might make it out of high school but they will find themselves woefully ill prepared for the college that their “fake” skills have put them in. In a similar way the link building thieves that steal web positions from deserving sites will find themselves knocked off quickly and dismissed. Keep your nose clean or I will write about you.
